Silverado Hospice, Los Angeles
In Silverado hospice they are looking for volunteers to join
their team. As a hospice volunteer your duty is that you have to visit patients
in their own home, in hospitals or in other nursing facilities. These people
are terminally ill and in their final stages of life. You need to read the
paper or a book to the patient, play and listen to music, talk and listen to
them. You have to make company and make them feel like they care.
California Hospital Medical Center
Your duty here is to interview patients about food
satisfaction in the hospital and inform them about the healthy choices. You
also have to learn about the patient’s experience.

anything you just have to be at least 18 years of age. In this volunteer work
you don’t have to do anything difficult only make others feel special.
California Hospital Medical Center:
To be able to
volunteer in the California hospital medical center you have to be at least 18
years of age. You are also supposed to do orientation or training.
Other interesting things: In the Silverado Hospice they will
work with your schedule and they try to find a person who lives near your house
so that you won’t work far.
